Recertification for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification can seem like a daunting process, especially if you’re concerned about renewing ACLS during the COVID-19 outbreak. Fortunately updates to the certification process has simplified the ACLS Update process.
Code One offers ACLS training through a couple American Heart Association approved options: instructor-led class or a virtual course (live or distributive) with a individual skills appointment at our center.
The BEACON ACLS program has been our most popular format for renewal. Participants complete a portion of their training online using the American Heart Association’s Heartcode ACLS course and then schedule an individual skills appointment at any Code One Training Center. Appointments are offered daily between 8am and 8pm (some locations have more restrictive schedules) and take about an hour to complete skills.
ACLS Instructor-Led Training is another option. Training is provided in a single-day format and can be completed entirely in-person or virtually with an individual skills appointment. This option is best for those who want to learn in a traditional classroom environment. Space is limited as we only are accepting three participants per class to ensure proper social distance.

How do I renew my ACLS And BLS certificate
We offer the American Heart Association ACLS and BLS hybrid courses at our center for renewals. You would complete a portion of each course online and then come to our center for an individual skills appointment. Appointments are offered Monday through Saturday between 8am and 8pm at most locations so it’s easy to find a convenient time to come in.
Choose the BEACON ACLS Complete Package and select YES for the BLS Add On option during registration – this will include your online course keys, individual skills appointment, and AHA completion eCards for BLS and ACLS.
