Code One Training Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve full-time as a Client Solutions Specialist.

We are a nurse-owned company that innovates and optimizes the CPR training experience. Established in 2007, Code One Training Solutions is headquartered in Roanoke, VA with remote staff nationwide and 55 physical locations across the eastern US. 

Our BEACON Program is CPR training reinvented –  it is designed for learners who need flexibility and convenience, and who care about the quality of CPR training they receive and ultimately provide. BEACON is a unique combination of the American Heart Association’s online, self-paced learning coupled with an in-person skills verification on the innovative RQI 1STOP® skills testing station with remote instructor monitoring.  

Position Summary:

Use your exemplary customer service skills to guide clients through the process of selecting the right course, assist in navigating online training, and scheduling appointments for hands-on skills testing.  You’ll engage with clients from around the country through online chat, email, phones and video conference.  Client Solutions Teammates support each other and our team of instructors in their daily delivery of courses and skills appointments. 

Applicants must be personable, trustworthy, professional, and tech-savvy. You should have a keen interest in providing an exceptional client experience. We are offering part-time (20 hours/week) and full-time (40 hours/week) positions with hours between 8am-5pm EST.  Remote work opportunities are available for this position.  We are able to be moderately flexible with school/childcare schedules with adequate notice.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Abide by all American Heart Association and company protocols
  • Comfort with technology; ability to learn troubleshooting for computers, internet issues
  • Dedicated team-player, participation in communications among teammates
  • Maintain professional appearance and quiet professional space for phone and video calls 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be responsible, punctual and able to work independently
  • Must be able to attend scheduled training and professional development sessions
  • Maintain a quiet workspace free of background noise and distractions
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds

Desired Qualifications:

  • Physical proximity to one of our 50 training sites for employee training on our equipment and technology 

Compensation:

This position is full-time at 40 hours/week.  Client Solutions Specialists start at $18/hour plus health, dental, 401k benefits and paid time off (PTO) for full-time teammates.

Position Summary:

Use your exemplary communication skills to guide clients through the skills component of their First Aid and CPR training.  Learners using our BEACON platform are connected remotely via video conference.  BEACON Skills Instructors control the high-fidelity manikins that learners interact with to validate their skills performance.

Advanced Life Support trained instructors coach learners through ACLS and PALS algorithms and megacode practice sessions.

  • Relevant experience as a healthcare provider

We are a nurse-owned company that innovates and optimizes the CPR training experience. Established in 2007, Code One Training Solutions is headquartered in Roanoke, VA with remote staff nationwide and 60 physical locations across the eastern US. 

Our BEACON Program is CPR training reinvented –  it is designed for learners who need flexibility and convenience, and who care about the quality of CPR training they receive and ultimately provide. BEACON is a unique combination of the American Heart Association’s online, self-paced learning coupled with an in-person skills verification on the innovative RQI 1STOP® skills testing station with remote instructor monitoring. 

Position Summary:

Your hands-on skills and attention to detail are needed to provide an exemplary experience for our learners.  BEACON Equipment Technicians perform preventative and emergency maintenance on Code One’s manikins and conferencing equipment.  BEACON Equipment Technicians are also responsible for performing the initial setup of new Code One locations, movement of equipment to client facilities, and routine inventory of equipment on-hand.

BEACON Equipment Technicians are required to travel to Code One Training Centers and client locations in their territory using company provided vehicles.  A clean driving record and negative drug screen are required for this position.  Teammates should expect to be away from home an average of 2 nights per week.

Code One Training Solutions seeks a social media marketing intern, Summer 2024 ☀️

We are a CPR company revolutionizing how American Heart Association CPR training is performed across the US. With 60 offices from Maine to Georgia, we innovated a hybrid of state-of-the-art technology and 1-on-1 virtual instruction which allows us to train over 19,000 individuals a year. Our various social channels have been relatively dormant for years, but we are excited to expand, educate and entertain our thousands of organic followers.

You are a creative and motivated individual ready to contribute to a rapidly growing brand. This role will assist the marketing team, helping to expand and execute the social presence of Code One and its subsidiaries. In this role you will gain valuable experience developing unique social media content using graphic design, video production, and copywriting skills. You should have a passion for clean, concise copy, engaging photos and video, and cohesive branding.

Code One’s social media intern should expect to report directly to the Marketing Manager and be involved in all aspects of content creation; from pitching ideas to managing the brand social media accounts.

ESSENTIALS:

  • Must be a junior or senior enrolled in a degree program in Digital Marketing & Social Media, Social Media Marketing, Digital Communications, or related field
  • Internship is a 20 hour/week summer hybrid in-person/remote stipend position running June 2 – August 30 (flexibility to accommodate school start/end dates)
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Chief Strategy Officer to strategize and schedule content

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Knows how to write clean, concise and interesting copy for a variety of digital formats
  • Is a team player, willing to work with team to produce quality content
  • Has strong grammar skills and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Is excited to share new content ideas and opportunities with the team
  • Has a basic proficiency with Canva
  • Is based in Roanoke, VA or Richmond, VA areas for in-office days

COMPENSATION:

  • Stipend of $300/week to be paid every 2 weeks.
